As of May 21, applicant number 1598 received an assignment.
We will continue to grant assignments all throughtout the second week of June.
At this point, we have no information regarding the exact number of assignments we will be able to give on this first round, but it could be as many as 800 more.
There is no need for you to email and call our offices to find out about the likelihood of you getting an assignment.
For those who do not receive an assignment within this first batch, we will have more information on their possibilities around the third week of June.
Regarding the email that was sent yesterday and that created a lot of confusion, please accept our apologies. It was caused by a glitch in our system, and it was only intended for those who had already received an assignment.
Please, wait patiently as we continue to move along in this process. We will keep you posted through this website and our email system.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR THOSE WHO RECEIVE AN ASSIGNMENT
Once you are granted an assignment, you will receive an email from PROFEX stating the region where you will be placed.
Please, read the instructions below on how to accept your assignment in PROFEX.
Please, read the VISA APPLICATION MANUAL carefully.
As you will read on the manual, you will not be able to work on your visa or your appointment with your Consulate until you receive a formal job offer in writing specifying your assignment (carta de nombramiento).
You will receive this document from the Regional Office of Education (Consejería de Educación) that will employ you in Spain.
Please, wait patiently until you receive your carta de nombramiento from your Consejería de Educación. No Consulate will be able to process anything for you until you can show that carta de nombramiento.
