In order to study in Spain at the different educational levels, it is mandatory to apply for recognition or accreditation of studies, depending on the educational stage one wishes to access.
The accreditation of foreign studies to primary and secondary Spanish grades means a declaration of equivalence between the former and the latter, for purposes of pursuing studies at a Spanish schooling institution.
The recognition of degrees, diplomas or any other foreign studies with their corresponding certificates in the Spanish education system means the declaration of equivalence between the former and the latter for academic purposes and in order to obtain their official status and validity in Spain’s national territory.
