Salto de línea DURING THE VISIT

Salto de línea Children aged 6 to 12 need not get bored when visiting our museum. To get the most out of the permanent exhibition, we offer teaching materials and games, downloadable from our website and available at the ticket desk: from a fun bingo game to search for pieces throughout the museum, to several tours to learn and enjoy, even in English!

Salto de línea In the museum gift/bookshop you will find specific options for children.Salto de línea The museum provides a baby changing facility in one of the toilets and has a breastfeeding policy. There are no facilities for heating baby food or bottles at the museum. The museum’s location means that it is easily accessible by public transport. There is also a children’s playground nearby, near the Temple of Debod, and there are many places to eat in the area.

Salto de línea OUR BUGGY AND BABY CARRIER POLICY

Salto de línea Due to the characteristics and adequate conservation of our rooms, the use of light baby buggies is permitted when they are no more than 50 cm wide and 90 cm long when fully open. Packages, diaper bags, water bottles and food must be removed from the buggies and kept in lockers. Moses-type baskets or high prams are not permitted. For capacity reasons, up to four baby buggies will be allowed in the permanent exhibition at the same time.

Salto de línea Only front-carried baby carriers are permitted, whether for slings, backpacks or pouches. Back or hip carriers are not permitted.

Salto de línea Two front baby carriers (from newborn to 9kg) and two light buggies (from 6 months to 4 years) are available at the ticket desk for visitors who wish to make use of them. Please ask our staff. The museum does not have a designated place to leave large or non-folding pushchairs.
